There are still no hard feelings for Arielle Vandenberg when it comes to Love Island USA.

The content creator, 39, was the original host for the US version of the dating competition series when it was on CBS. It first premiered on the network on July 9, 2019, and aired there for its first three seasons. The series based on the British Love Island was sold to Peacock, becoming its new home starting from the fourth season.

With the move came a change in host and narrator. The network brought in Sarah Hyland and Ian Stirling to replace Arielle and Matthew Hoffman, respectively. Ariana Maddix took over for Sarah for the sixth season and remains the current host.

At the time, Arielle had posted on Instagram about CBS not picking up the show and it going to Peacock. She expressed gratitude for the experience and recounted her excitement when CBS booked her.

She shouted out the cast and crew and thanked the fans for their love and support. Arielle also thanked CBS and ITV America for giving her the “opportunity of a lifetime.”

Within the post, she also acknowledged that the change in networks means a rebrand. Arielle voiced that while she is “sad” not to be coming back, she is “happy” for Sarah, who she called a friend, and said that she will “kill it.”

Arielle recently spoke to The Mirror US about the dating reality series. She maintained her love for Love Island USA and revealed that she still keeps up with the show.

“Yeah, that show is so fun and Ariana is so good as the host. It’s just such a fun show. You can’t go wrong with it. It’s such an easy watch, and it’s so funny, like the narration and everything,” Arielle said.

“I love it. I loved it before I was a part of it too. Like, just watching the British version, I was obsessed. So, yeah, it’s still so fun to, you know, obviously watch it,” she added.

When asked if she would go back to hosting, Arielle said she “absolutely” would and teased a potential opportunity.

“Oh, absolutely. I love hosting. I think hosting is so fun. I mean, I’m an actress as well. I love acting, but I really love hosting because you just get to use your own personality. You don’t have to try to be anybody else. You just get to like, do you, have fun,” the former Vine star explained.

“I love improvising. So hosting—I think like that is definitely something that I thrive in, that environment of just getting to be myself. And so hosting really lends to that. And so yeah, of course I would love to host, and I might be hosting something soon,” Arielle continued.

Arielle also shared what reality TV series she would love to be a part of—Dancing With The Stars. She called getting to be a part of the ABC dance competition series her “literal dream” and said she is “manifesting.”

She mentioned how Derek Hough and Julianne Hough are “good friends” of her and her husband, fellow content creator and former Vine star Matt Cutshall. Derek has featured in a couple of Matt’s Emo’s Not Dead videos.

Arielle added she “would love to do that show” and noted she is a dancer. The model also shared who her dream partner would be if she was on the show.

“I love Mark Ballas. He’s also a good friend of mine. So it would just be so fun to be able to dance with my friend. But yeah, probably Mark, if he would come back. I know he’s on and off seasons,” Arielle elaborated. “Or maybe Val [Chmerkovskiy]. Val’s just cool. Oh my god, Sasha [Farber], [but] I feel like I’m too tall. [I’]d be towering over Sasha.”

Arielle previously spoke with The Mirror US about attempting to crash the Met Gala on May 4 in a couture Hellmann’s Garlic Aioli-inspired dress. The stunt was to make a statement about Anna Wintour’s ban of garlic, onions, and chives from the Met Gala’s menu.

On the day, Arielle made it to the security checkpoint but was refused entry.
