A deadly aviation incident at Denver International Airport has left one man dead and multiple passengers injured after a Frontier Airlines aircraft was forced to abort operations when an unauthorized individual entered an active runway and was fatally drawn into the engine.

According to initial reports from airport authorities, the man involved was not an employee, passenger, or member of the flight crew. Instead, investigators confirmed he had illegally entered restricted airport grounds by breaching the perimeter fence before running onto the runway during live flight operations.

The collision occurred in a matter of seconds, triggering an immediate emergency response from the flight crew and airport fire and rescue teams. The aircraft was forced to initiate an emergency shutdown procedure on the runway as smoke and engine damage were reported following the impact.
