She’s gotta maple-leave!
The lefty Canadian illegal immigrant who attacked a teen in patriotic clothing on a New Jersey boardwalk is getting the boot back to Canuck.
A Texas immigration judge ordered Kaitlyn Tracey to be deported back to her home country Tuesday – before the teen slapper entered a guilty plea on an assault charge stemming from the Fourth of July weekend brawl at Point Pleasant boardwalk, a courtroom heard.
Tracey, 33 – who attended a criminal court hearing in Toms River over the phone from a Texas ICE lockup – only copped to one count of simple assault, a misdemeanor, as part of a cushy plea deal.
Tracey overstayed her visa and was in the US illegally at the time of her arrest, the Department of Homeland Security said at the time — later dubbing her the “maple leaf menace.”
On Tuesday, however, her defense lawyer tried to paint Tracey as a “productive member of society.”
“She arrived here on a passport some years ago. She met her husband and didn’t leave, but while she was [here], she maintained employment and was a productive member of society,” attorney Francis Hodgson told Judge Guy P. Ryan – and called the sickening situation simply “unfortunate.”
“[Tracey has] taken responsibility for her role in it, and this is a reasonable judgment, Judge, that is consistent with other similar-type matters that happen every day during the summer on this boardwalk,” Hodgson said of the incident.
The prosecution said that the family of the victim — who was only identified in court by the initials M.H. — was on board with the plea.
A parent of the girl attended the hearing virtually, but with no video or audio.
Judge Ryan summarized the family’s impact statement aloud in the courtroom.
“The parents recite that, ‘Thank goodness for cameras and cell phones to have documented this incident’,” he said, adding that the relatives belong to immigrant families and are “proud of their country and celebrated its independence.”
“The notoriety and publicity of this matter has indicated that they’re proud of their country, love their country, they have core values and refer to the history of their family,” the judge stated.
The victim and her parents “look forward to justice being served, and they thank all the agencies involved,” he concluded.
The not-so-nice neighbor from the North – who had been living in Asbury Park with her husband of three years, Matt Geroni – was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, according to court records.
She was transferred from the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility in Newark to ICE’s processing center in Laredo, Texas – a five-minute drive down the road from Laredo International Airport.
How and when Tracey will be transported back to Canada and whether she will ever be permitted to return to the US wasn’t immediately clear – though her banishment is expected to last “for a very long time,” Judge Ryan said during her sentencing.
Geroni was noticeably absent from the courtroom Tuesday, after the self-styled social media star previously whined in a TikTok video that his wife was forced to endure “horrible,” squalid conditions at Delaney Hall – and begged his followers to help him get her released from ICE custody, “even if that means back to Canada.”
The 42-year-old husband – who bills himself as the “Jester of the Jersey Shore” and the “Clown of Asbury Park” on social media – has a lengthy history of posting unhinged lefty rants.
In a pair of disturbing videos posted on his TikTok account last August, Geroni openly wished for the deaths of President Donald Trump and his family – including “the little kids.”
“Praying the entire Trump family gets cancer. And I mean everybody, like little kids and s–t,” the clip’s caption reads, while video shows him dropping to his knees and clasping his hands together.
“Praying the next assassination attempt works,” he wrote on another video posted the next day.
