Netflix Viewers Stay Up Until 3 AM Binge-Watching the Final Season of Outer Banks
Devoted fans of Netflix’s smash-hit teen drama Outer Banks have not wasted any time diving into its long-awaited return, with many staying up until the early hours of the morning to finish the final episodes.

The Pogues Return for Their Final Adventure
The popular series—which originally premiered in 2020 and follows a tight-knit group of teens known as the Pogues searching for lost treasure—has officially dropped its fifth and final season.
The ten new episodes pick up in the emotional aftermath of the shocking season four finale, which saw the tragic death of JJ (played by Rudy Pankow) at the hands of his father, Chandler Groff. Far from home in Morocco, John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) must navigate grief, evade new and old enemies, and form an uneasy alliance with Rafe in a desperate final race to reclaim their future and avenge their best friend.
Fans Take to Social Media After Late-Night Binge
With massive excitement surrounding the show’s conclusion, viewers rushed to finish the entire final run in one sitting. Taking to social media, one dedicated fan shared: “Started the last season of outer banks earlier at 6pm and finished all 10 episodes now at 3am,” while another called it an “emotional roller coaster ride.”
Co-creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke previously confirmed that the series would conclude with its fifth season, noting that they always envisioned the treasure-hunting adventure as a complete five-season journey. All five seasons of Outer Banks are currently available to stream on Netflix.
