She stars alongside Andrea Riseborough as an 84-year-old woman whose life changes after she forms an unlikely friendship with a lonely neighbour. But as their connection deepens, the story gradually moves into much darker emotional territory. Critics have responded strongly, helping the film earn a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score, while Blethyn and Riseborough were jointly honoured with the Best Performance award at Tribeca.
