Jin (BTS) Faces Criticism Over His Actions Toward Jungkook
Jin of the global group BTS has received mixed reactions from fans following an interaction with Jungkook during a livestream.
On the evening of December 31, BTS surprised fans with an unexpected livestream to celebrate the New Year together. The group delighted ARMY by appearing together in full after a long hiatus caused by the members fulfilling their mandatory military service.
Throughout the broadcast, viewers enjoyed seeing the members interact playfully with one another, while BTS also teased plans for a comeback in 2026, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement.

However, one moment during the livestream left some fans uneasy. Midway through the broadcast, as several members stood up from the sofa, Jin walked behind Jungkook, lifted him up, and placed him over the back of the couch. Jungkook landed in an awkward position, with his head and neck touching the floor before he quickly stood up on his own.
While many fans found Jin’s prank amusing, others expressed concern over Jungkook’s safety and criticized Jin’s actions. Although most fans believe Jin had no intention of causing harm, many still hope the group will be more cautious with physical jokes in the future to avoid the risk of serious injury.

On the morning of January 1, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed to AtStar1 that BTS will officially make their comeback on March 20, 2026.
This will mark the group’s first full album release in nearly three years and nine months, following the compilation album Proof, which was released in June 2022.
According to the company, information about the comeback date had already been mentioned in a letter sent to Gold-tier members of ARMY, BTS’s official fan club.
The letter also included messages from the members, along with a mysterious symbol and the date March 30, 2026, sparking further curiosity and discussion among fans.
