Meghan Markle Opens Up About How Daughter Princess Lilibet Inspires Her

Meghan Markle has raised a brave daughter who she often thinks of when she needs a dose of courage.
The Duchess of Sussex recently shed light on her relationship with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, 5, and how she inspires her to be bold. While speaking to InStyle, she said, “Every day when I feel a little bit like, ‘Oh gosh, can I do this?’ “I go, ‘Lili would do it.'”
Meghan believes raising Lilibet and her son, Prince Archie, 7, has given her “superpowers.”
“I was just thinking it’s being a mom,” she explained. “All moms, I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all and enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time.”
The Duchess shares a very close relationship with her children.

On her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, she once admitted, “The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks. I was…not well,” recalling the time she had to travel back to the UK due to the death of her grandmother-in-law Queen Elizabeth II,
In his 2023 memoir Spare, Prince Harry also revealed how hard it is for him to be separated from them for too long.
He wrote, “Our quick trip would now be an odyssey. Another ten days, at least. Difficult days at that. More, we’d have to be away from the children for longer than we’d planned, longer than we’d ever been.”
Harry and Meghan wed on May 19, 2018, during a royal ceremony in Windsor. Two years after their wedding, the couple stepped back from their royal titles and relocated to Montecito, California.
Prince Archie was only 10 months old when he was moved to America while Princess Lilibet was born here, making her the first royal-born member of the British Royal Family to be born outside of Europe.
