Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are preparing an extravagant Halloween celebration on Live With Kelly and Mark, promising 60 costume changes, celebrity appearances and a major prize for one lucky contestant.
The couple offered a sneak peek at their upcoming Halloween Shockin’ Eve special, scheduled for Friday, October 30, revealing an ambitious lineup of costumes inspired by television, pop culture and viral moments.
The event will also feature several familiar Hollywood faces and a surprise guest whose identity remains under wraps.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Reveal Star-Studded Halloween Plans
During the October 26 episode, Live revisited some of its most memorable Halloween moments, including Ripa and former cohost Regis Philbin dressing as each other.
The retrospective also featured Ripa and Consuelos’ previous parodies of reality television favorites such as The Bachelor and Love Island.
At the end of the broadcast, producers teased the upcoming special with a dramatic announcement promising a spectacle featuring 60 costume changes.
Confirmed celebrity guests include Andy Cohen, Zach Braff, Lisa Rinna and Jerry O’Connell, alongside one mystery guest.
The preview suggested that the show’s production team has been working on an especially elaborate celebration this year.
First Look at Halloween Costumes Revealed
Several costumes have already been teased ahead of the special.
Ripa and Consuelos will portray Nikki and Bear from Obsession, characters played by Inde Navarrette and Michael Johnston.
The couple will also transform into Ilya and Shane from Heated Rivalry, portrayed by Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams.
Another preview showed Ripa dressed as a referee while directing Consuelos and executive producer Michael Gelman during a musical rehearsal.
Gelman and announcer Déjà Vu were also shown wearing costumes inspired by NeeDoh squishy toys.
The show’s social media accounts added another playful preview featuring Ripa and Consuelos hiding inside a cleaning cart.
The sketch poked fun at the viral stories about Taylor Swift secretly traveling backstage in a cleaning cart during her Eras Tour.
Déjà Vu narrated the segment as though the hosts’ unusual method of entering the studio had finally been exposed.
The joke followed last year’s Halloween celebration, when Ripa and Consuelos recreated Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement photograph.
Halloween Costume Contest Offers $15,000 Disney Cruise
The Halloween festivities will extend beyond the television studio, with viewers invited to participate in a special costume contest.
Ripa encouraged participants to arrive dressed in their best Halloween outfits at the show’s New York City studio, located at 281 Spring Street.
Contestants must arrive by 8 a.m. on Friday, October 30.
Consuelos revealed that the grand prize winner will receive a seven-night Caribbean cruise for four aboard the Disney Treasure.
The vacation package is valued at $15,000.
With dozens of costume changes, celebrity appearances and a major giveaway planned, this year’s celebration promises to be another ambitious production for the daytime talk show.
