Ahriman admitted his excitement may be running ahead of the band’s schedule, with vocalist Heljarmadr warning him not to celebrate before everything is truly finished. The songs have continued to evolve during recent discussions between the pair, and both musicians appear increasingly fired up by the direction of the record. Fans will not hear the finished result immediately, however, as another major Dark Funeral release is set to arrive first. Ahriman stopped short of revealing exactly what the new material sounds like — but his brutally confident verdict suggests the long wait may be rewarded.
