The 1% Club: 10 Contestants Eliminated by a Question Most People Found Easy

A question that 90% of the public had answered correctly proved unexpectedly difficult for contestants on ITV’s The 1% Club, sending 10 players out of the competition and leaving host Lee Mack stunned.
In an unusual turn of events, the question appeared in the 90% round, which is generally considered one of the easiest stages of the game. Yet despite its relatively low difficulty rating, a significant number of contestants failed to work out the answer.
A Surprisingly Difficult 90% Question

Questions on The 1% Club are tested on members of the public before they appear on the show. The percentage of people who answer correctly determines the difficulty level assigned to each question.
As the rounds progress, the challenges become increasingly difficult, with the final question designed to be solved by only 1% of the population.
However, one recent challenge demonstrated that even questions with a high success rate can catch contestants off guard.
Players were given just 30 seconds to answer:
“Logically, which of these children’s characters could be included in this sequence? Humpty Dumpty, Tinky Winky, Andy Pandy.”

Although 90% of the public had managed to answer correctly during testing, the question proved to be a stumbling block for 10 contestants, who were eliminated from the ITV game show.
The unexpected result left Lee Mack gobsmacked, showing that even an apparently straightforward puzzle can become a major challenge under the pressure of the competition.
