Married teacher accused of sex with six students in closet and truck turns herself into cops at 4.30am
A Georgia high school teacher accused of sexually abusing six teenagers is back behind bars after prosecutors alleged she broke her house arrest a whopping 85 times.
Maris Nichols, 25, was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday on a slew of sexual abuse charges.
She was previously arrested on May 6 in Douglasville, about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a student from her third-period class at Alexander High School.
Nichols, who is married and has a daughter, was then arrested for a second time later that month for charges related to sexual abuse of five other teenagers, including a girl whom she told to watch the R-rated Fifty Shades of Grey movies.
She was released on a $74,000 bond with several conditions, including that she be placed on house arrest and ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victims.
However, court filings allege that she violated those conditions 85 times over a 27-day monitoring period.
Prosecutors requested her bond be revoked in court filings on Friday, then secured an indictment against Nichols on Wednesday.
A new arrest warrant was issued for Nichols, and she turned herself in to the Douglas County Jail under a shroud of darkness at 4.30am on Thursday, WSB-TV reported.

Jail records show she is being held without bond and is expected to appear in court on June 29.
Nichols now faces 27 counts, including sexual assault, cruelty to children, sexual exploitation, grooming of a minor, electronically furnishing obscene material to minors and child molestation.
She has been accused of sexually abusing multiple teens, including inside a school closet.
An arrest warrant cited an instance where she allegedly had sex with a student in the backseat of his truck at a local golf club on May 3.
In another instance, prosecutors alleged that there was video footage of Nichols having sex with a student while wearing a ‘Jesus Loves You’ sweater.
She also allegedly sent a slew of explicit text messages, nude photos and videos of herself using sex toys to several teens, including two under the age of 16, according to court records.
Authorities wrote in court documents that the teacher also described her sexual desires in text messages to her students, including that she wanted to be ‘choked, screamed at, slapped and whipped.’
An arrest warrant claimed that Nichols had an OnlyFans account that was discovered by her students, and they were allegedly using the adult content to blackmail her for better grades.

Nichols has also been accused of tampering with evidence for allegedly telling a student to delete the text messages and lie if he was asked about suspected molestation.
After her initial arrest, the Douglas County School System told parents it was ‘deeply troubled’ by the allegations and an internal investigation had been launched.
‘Student safety is the district’s highest priority. The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold,’ the district said.
