Florida man with top military security clearance allegedly confessed to stabbing partner to death on 911 call
A former US military worker allegedly confessed to stabbing his girlfriend to death in a chilling call with a 911 dispatcher Friday.
“Um, I murdered my girlfriend,” Kyle Sanchez, 35, allegedly told a police operator from the couple’s Tampa, Florida, home at around 3 p.m., according to court documents obtained by local news outlet WFLA 8.
Sanchez – who had top-secret security clearance while working as a data analyst at the nearby MacDill Air Force Base until May – also told the dispatcher that his 37-year-old girlfriend, Amanda Roark, was “beyond help.”

When asked what happened, the alleged killer responded that he had “a very unfriendly urge” and grabbed a knife.
Sanchez’s confession came just 10 minutes after the 911 dispatch center received a call from Roark, whose voice could be heard over the phone pleading with her attacker.
