ANA NAVARRO’S STEPDAUGHTER MAKES RARE APPEARANCE ON THE VIEW — BUT THEIR UNEXPECTED ON-AIR MOMENT HAS VIEWERS WONDERING WHAT REALLY HAPPENED BETWEEN THEM! Ana Navarro has always kept much of her family life away from the television spotlight, making her stepdaughter’s unexpected appearance particularly special. The brief encounter caught viewers’ attention, with some interpreting Ana’s reaction as surprisingly uncomfortable. Yet behind the awkwardness some thought they noticed lies a much more personal story about Ana’s relationship with her husband’s daughter and the family bond they share.

ANA Navarro looked surprised and uneasy as her seldom seen step-daughter was called out on national television.

On Monday, the ladies of The View were discussing friends who create and maintain a large group chat – without you.

As the hosts each bickered about being left off certain chat chains, Sara Haines attempted to open the conversation up to their personal lives.

Sara specifically addressed Ana, 51, asking her, “Do you do this in your family?”

Then Sara, 46, turned her attention to the studio audience, before making an embarrassing error while continuing to address Ana.

“Your daughter – step daughter is here,” Sara quickly corrected.

Ana’s face turned white, as she grumbled something incoherent under her breath before finally admitting: “It’s a lot.”

The camera then cut to her step-daughter, who was not mic’d up nor expecting to be featured on air.

She played along, replying, “Oh yeah, there’s plenty,” in a hard-to-hear moment.

Online, fans were a little thrown off by the exchange, and Ana’s reaction.

“Okay. That was awkward with #Ana’s step-daughter acknowledgment,” one person tweeted.

Another replied, “There was a little tension there.”

As a third agreed, “Wasn’t it though. Ana seemed uneasy.”

ANA’S MAN

Ana does not have any children of her own, but she is step-mother to equally private husband Al Cárdenas four adult kids.

Alberto Remigio Cárdenas y Pardo is a Cuban-born lawyer, politician and conservative activist out of Miami, Florida.

He served under former president Ronald Reagan who requested him to lead his transition team to organize and restructure the Department of Commerce.

Reagan and former president George H.W. Bush also appointed Cárdenas to the Board of Directors for the Federal National Mortgage Association, and he served on the President’s Trade Policy Commission.

Cárdenas was named one of D.C.’s top lobbyists by The Hill newspaper and is now the senior partner at the Squire Patton Boggs law firm in Miami as well as the Advocacy Group at Cardenas Partners.

Ana and Alberto married in March 2019 in a lavish and star-studded wedding.

Their wedding took place at a waterfront venue in Miami Beach, Florida. The invitees included CNN’s Anderson Cooper, actress Eva Longoria, and singer Gloria Estefan as well as politicians including senators Mitt Romney and Bob Menendez.

Despite their age difference, the couple is going strong. On their second wedding anniversary, Navarro posted on social media that her only regret was “not getting married sooner.”

FIRING SQUAD

Ana doesn’t often peel back the curtain on her personal life – and there might be a good reason why.

She recently found herself firing back at a troll who accused her of showing off her privilege.

Last month, Ana shared shared some photos from her holiday trip to Africa.

That included a set of images of Ana, posing in front of an elephant as well as grinning alongside her husband Al.

“We are feeling blessed this Christmas,” Ana captioned her photo set.

“We are so joyful to spend it marveling at the unique beauty of Africa. We wish all of you and yours a Merry Christmas, peace and health.”

There were additional photos featuring other animals Ana saw while in Africa.

TOTAL TROLL

But one of Ana’s commenters wasn’t so thrilled about the look into her vacation.

“I love you Ana but displaying your privilege is getting annoying,” they wrote.

“You are a true Republican… as long as you have it. Screw everyone else.”

It didn’t take long for Ana to fire back a response.

“Why wouldn’t I share a glimpse of my life? Why wouldn’t I should you pictures of these magnificent animals?” The View star asked.

“Travel – for work and leisure – is a huge part of my life. Guess what? Liberals come on safari too. Loving Africa and its awe-inspiring nature is not a partisan activity. I dreamt my whole life of coming here. Wasn’t able to do it until I was almost 50.”

Ana added that she plans to visit Africa “as many times as she can,” noting people from all over the world travel there on different budgets.

She explained that she plans to share the “magical experience” with anyone who follows her.

“If you are resentful of my life, or it makes you uncomfortable, I strongly suggest you not follow me,” Ana asserted.

“You see this is my page and I post what I want to. Have a very Merry Christmas.”
