Performing on the streets of Brighton, the busking band took one of Depeche Mode’s most recognisable songs and rebuilt it with crunching guitars, a driving bassline and the raw energy of a festival headline set. The familiar opening pulled the crowd in, but it was the moment the arrangement exploded into something completely different that made people stop walking.
